The planned service would let patients choose a Michigan county and discover caregivers who identify that county as an area they intend to serve.
Compare compatibility
Planned profiles would show relevant verification status, experience, service areas, care style, availability, and general compatibility information.
Connect by mutual choice
Under the planned design, a patient could send a CarePair request. Private messaging would become available only if the caregiver accepted.
Keep sensitive details private
The planned matching profiles would not display raw identity documents, MMMP credential numbers, or exact home addresses. Final privacy and security practices must be documented before launch.
Stay in control
Proposed member controls include withdrawing requests, reporting or blocking members, ending CarePairs, and pausing or canceling membership.
Important Michigan program boundary
A future CarePair would be a platform introduction and communication relationship only. It would not itself establish, change, or terminate a formal Michigan medical marijuana caregiver designation. Any required state process would remain separate.
