Verify eligibility
The planned service would require identity and role-appropriate Michigan Medical Marihuana Program credential verification before matching access. The verification process is still being finalized.

Build a profile
Patients would describe their preferences. Caregivers would share experience, service counties, care style, and general medicine-category compatibility.

Discover compatible members
Under the planned design, patients could search eligible caregivers by service area and compatibility. Caregiver discovery would depend on verification, membership status, availability, and profile visibility settings.

Send a CarePair request
A patient would request a connection. The caregiver could review the available profile information and accept or decline.

Start messaging
An accepted request would create a CarePair and unlock private messaging between those two members. Messaging is not available on this informational preview.

Decide what comes next
Members would decide whether the connection is a good fit. A CarePair would not itself establish or change a formal MMMP caregiver relationship; any required state process would remain separate.

MJCarePair is being designed as an introduction service, not a cannabis marketplace. The proposed platform would not offer cannabis menus, inventory listings, cannabis prices, carts, checkout, delivery coordination, or cannabis transaction fees.
